Draco stood on the Command walkway on the Imperial Swords bridge. He was staring outside the large transpearisteel view ports at the space around Bastions orbit. The space way was busy. Civilian and military traffic was all over. Several Large fleets were also in orbit. The Grand Admirals fleet along with the Sector fleet and the Defensive fleet were also in the area. Draco sighed. This is more where he belonged; on the bridge of a warship preparing for military action. He turned and looked to the captain of the Sword. A small roundish man, the Captain was hand picked by Draco personally to command this vessel. Captain Kline was a confident and very able ship commander, also related to the famed warlord Zsinji. Klines loyalty to the Empire is more resolute then his distant cousins were.

Kline looked to his Emporer. "My lord, Colonel Whest and his men have landed and are enroute to the bridge as we speak." Kline looked at his data pad and looked back up. "The Imperial Sword will be ready to depart with in the half hour."

Draco nodded. "Very well Captain, inform the rest of our little party our Estimated Departure time. Plot the fastest route to our target system so we can arrive in time for the party."

Kline nodded and went to carry out his orders.

Draco went to his command chair but didnt sit. Instead he pulled a data pad from inside of the seat. It was a report from the double agent inside of a small but aggressive warlord group. The agent reports that the message to the GA has been sent and the Warlords plans are still in motion. The agent has had no communication from the Galacitc alliance nor has he heard any news of them poking around.

The last irritated the Emporer. It wasnt normal for the GA to ignore the plea from a minor system. However this could be turned to an advantage. He keyed a few commands into the data pad. The pad beeped and the display changed. Dracos time line has been moved up slightly. If the GA would ignore good intelligence about a small warlord attacking a neutral planet, they may ignore far more. It was time to put that to the test.

Draco had just sat the data pad down when Whest and his men entered the bridge....

Grand Admrial Jason McKnight walked down the ramp of his Grand Admiral Shuttle. He looked around the hanger bay of the Emperor's flagship. While very simular to his own Enforcer the Emperor's Sword was just better due to the fact it was the emperors flagship. Jason headed straight for the bridge. Imperial personel ignored him for the most part and continued with their work. While he was a strong believer in military disipline and regulations but but pausing to snape to attention everytime a flag officer is around wastes time. Memos had gone out informing every ship crew on how he expected them to act when he was around. He had to laugh to himself. It was just the oppisite when he poses as Darth Revan (which the emperor only knows the secret) who was known to be extreamly ruthless. His duel personality and with their duties had allowed him to help forge an extreamlly well trained navy. When he arrived he gave his old friend a bow. "My lord. You summoned me."

Jason already had a more than accurate feeling on what this was about but like always he let his friend confirm his "instincts".

Whest motioned Omicron squad forward to follow the Imperial Guard CO. "Form up," called Jay, and the elite Intelligence soldiers formed up into a two man military march. He nodded to the group and then they headed to the bridge.

The ride to the bridge was a short one, but as always the long turbolift ride made Jay truely gawk at the massive size of the vessel. It outstripped the size of any Alliance ship by almost three kilometers, and it's power in combat, especially the Emperor's vessel, was formidable by itself. As the doors swooshed open to reveal the bridge the hustle and bustle of the crew was introduced to the team. The squad remained behind while Whest stepped forward. The Emperor and Grand Admiral were in what seemed like a introductory conversation, and Jay jumped in at what seemed like an appropriate time. "Colonel Whest reporting, m'lord," said Jay, snapping off a crisp salute and a deep bow. His light body armor clinked loudly.

The Colonel had no idea of what to expect from the Emperor; the Guard's missions varied greatly, as internal security was a broad spectrum. Jay stood ready to his Emperor's bidding.

Draco Smiled as his old friend appeared. One of the few officers who has known Draco for any extended period of time. The Imperial Grand Admiral and secret Hand Jason is one of the few people Draco truely trusted. Before Draco and McKnight could get into their convorsation, a group of men arrived. Draco reconized their leader as Colonel Whest. With the Colonel here Draco picked up his data pad and entered a command into it, as he did so he spoke to the Colonel and his men. "Ah yes the best of the Imperial gaurd. At ease men."

Draco turned and looked to his friend and Grand Admiral. "Jason as you may know the imperial gaurd is a specially selected and trained group of army officers whose sole mission is the protection of the Empire, and myself."

Draco approached Whest and extended his hand for a hand shake. "I am glad you and your men could come so fast. I have had an interesting run in with another officer and it is something I'd like you all to look at. However this is not the place. If you all would..." Draco gestured for them to follow him as he headed to a door just off the bridge. The door opened and inside appeared to be a smaller bridge. It is instead a replica of Dracos throne room. Having the same cababilities of the Throne room just smaller. Draco allowed his entourage to follow. When the door closed behind the last of them he continued.

"Gentlemen I had a run in with the Grand Moff, one that didnt sit right with me. His arrogance is fueled by more then his position. There is something else behind it." Draco started to pace. "Having your Emporer put a blaster to your face and all but threaten you is usually enough to make all but the heartless tremble a little. Veers managed a sneer. That doesnt sit well with me." Draco turned and looked directly at the Colonel. "Whest you and your men are to look into Veers activities, those we know of and those we may not. I will be giving you max level clearence to help you find out as much as possible. This is highly classified, you and your men are to speak of this to no one but myself and McKnight here." Draco narrowed his eyes. "I trust you reconize the implications of a mission such as this, so I will skip the usuall speal about what would happen if you fail your mission." Draco went over to his chair here and picked up another data pad. He gave it to Whest. "This has all the clearence codes you will need to bypass any security. It also has what info we have dug up on Veers so far. Its not much but it may help." Draco checked his crono. "As you may know the Sword as well as a part of the fleets is heading to Jagga Two. We are going to crush a warlord there. Post battle we will launch your shuttle, which is being refueled now. In the mean time I have arranged quarters for you and your men. The ensign outside will direct you all to them. Dismissed."

Jason nodded to the other officer. West was highly recommended it would be interesting how he fairs under this new elite unit. Jason listened very intently. He knew of the ambitious Grand Moff. Jason has had his encounters with him with both of his identities. He fallowed the Emperor to the conference room to allow for further discussion. When the emperor was done, it made perfect since to send West on the mission even though he was mildly disappointed that he wouldn’t see the Moff in person which wouldn’t be a bad thing anyway. He waited for West to leave so he could talk to the emperor alone. “I’m a bit surprised Draco that you let him go first. Usually you let me handel that as your Emperor’s hand. Why not let me scare the sith out of him. Let me bring my Crimson Guard with and let me strong arm him then let the colonel do some looking.”

Draco turned to his friend and laughed. "Ah my friend you must think I have gone soft." Draco moved over closer to Jason. "No my friend they are digging for the dirt. I do want you there. In his grill. If he steps one iota out of line, or disobeys me in anyway..." Dracos preditory smile returned. "I'm sure you can figure out what is needed to be done."

Jason smiled. "Ah but first doesnt duty call. We have a warlord to kill first." Oh did he want to go killing but certain things had to come first. Dealing with current trators come before possible trators. After they killed the warlord then the Moff will have a visit from Revan.

The Imperial Sword exits hyperspace after pounding the minor warlord into dust. They are in empty space clear of any factions, or pirates or anything that could attack the Sword. Draco is still on the bridge he has summoned Whest and Jason back to the bridge. It was time for Whest to depart, and give Jason some follow up orders.

Jason had not had that much fun in months. While the emperor personally commanded the fleet Jason was in charge of starfighter ops and between the two great minds had demolished the fleet within the hour. It was then General Kubon leading the Imperial Hell Hammers Armor regiment that broke the ground forces. Now back in imperial space he was summoned back to the bridge while he was meditating. He got up and headed there. Again he beat the Colonel there. Jason bowed and waited. With the power of the Force he knew he had orders but Draco has developed a unique way at keeping things hidden from him. Which was fine. Sometimes the less Jason knew the better.

** From Commander Xenos’ Arrival Thread**

The Emperor's flagship loomed like a lumbering warbeast out in front of the cockpit of Xenos' modified bomber. What struck him was the sheer size of the ship. Xenos knew he wasn't even in range of the ship, but he couldn't see anything but the ship. All space was blotted out by the Emperor's Sword. It was definitely a fleet unto itself. He decided to give them a heads up to his arrival before a swarm of Interceptors were upon him.

** Emperor's Sword, this is Commander Xenos, reporting in to Grand Admiral Jason McKnight. Sending you authorization code now to confirm.**

As he submitted the code, he thought, 'yeah, while I'm out of range of those heavy turbolasers". After he send the code over, he sat back and just waited, not stopping his progress toward the mighty ship, but not speeding up either. He just waited for the decision to be sent back to him

The Sword's communications officer acknowledged and word went to the Admiral who was able to slip away quickly to address the commander. "A commander. Welcome back. Come on board for the meeting where the Emperor will discuss his plans."

**Acknowledged Sir. I shall be aboard momentarily.** Then Xenos shut off his comm. system and increase the bomber’s speed to max, trying to make up the distance between him and the flagship in a hurry. It was one time that he wished the scramjets hadn’t been taken out of the bomber. It actually only took him 3 minutes to be directed to the officer’s hangar. Xenos was amazed by the size of it. Even though it was one of the smaller hangars, it could still hold a dreadnaught in there.

As his bomber rose up through the opening, he was directed to land at one of the junior officer’s spots. He swiftly cut to the left and activated the repulsorlifts, steadying the ship and then sitting it down. He left his R6 unit to take care of shutting the ship down and doing a diagnotics. Then we went to the hatch and opened, stepping out onto the deck of the mighty ship. He looked over at one of the deck officers and motioned for him to come over. The deck hand looked around to make sure he was addressing him and then came over.

“I am to be escorted to the see Grand Admiral McKnight. I believe he is talking with the Emperor.”

The deckhand paled for a second and then motioned for a personnel carrier to come over. Xenos stepped onto it, holding his head up as if he was going to meet with equals and it whisked him out of the hangar and towards probably two of the most powerful people in the galaxy.

** Command Bridge**

As Xenos stepped off the personnel carrier, he straightened his uniform, tugging on the cuffs and the hem to make sure there were no wrinkles in it. Then he walked through the blast doors that led to the Bridge, having been told earlier that both the Emperor and the High Admiral were here. He entered and was taken in by the size of it. It could hold a Vic Star at least. With the air of a man with purpose and no doubt, Commander Xenos approached High Admiral McKnight and Emperor Draco. He bowed low to the Emperor first and then saluted the High Admiral.

**Commander Xenos reporting for duty sir.** He held out a Datapad that held both his background, previous assignments, and his transfer papers. He kept quiet to let his superior officer examine it. He kept his eyes forward, not looking around.

oc - I'm looking to either command a large ship or a small task force/group within a larger fleet.

Draco Stayed quiet as this new officer came aboard. He eyed the man. A Chiss Xenos had the standard blue skin and red eyes, but he also seemed to have a cool confidence about him. Draco had learned that Chiss are exceptional at controlling their emotions, part of what makes them so formidable in battle. Draco pulled up a monitor and pulled up the fleet rosters....there was an opening...the Nasty Fleet. A battle group of Imperial Xs and Torpedo spheres. It needed a commander. While not a small fleet or task force it was one that would see limited use until the Empire was fully ready to engage the Galactic alliance. However in quick raids against Warlords and pirates it could prove useful. Draco made a mental note to keep a close eye on Xenos....this officer could prove to be very valuable to the Empire.

((High Admira? Do you really want to be insubordinate right off the bat? Try calling me by the right rank next time tongue ))

Jason returned the salute and looked over the records. He had decent marks and was ready for the next step. "Well Commander it seams that you are ready for a new assingment and command. You will be in charge of a newly formed task force. Your immiate CO will be Vice Admiral Thastus who will be in command of the fleet in which your task force is attached. Your task force will be TAD to my fleet for the upcoming operation in which the Emperor will give a breifing us on."

oc - Sorry about that. I changed it to the correct rank.

Xenos had heard of Vice Admiral Thastus. He has a reputation for swift strikes and leaned to the cruel side if annoyed.

"Thank you sir. I will not let you down." Having a full task force under his command was more than he expected. Of course it could have been that he was expecting some Anti-alien bias that he had heard so much about. Obviously the rumors were somewhat exaggerated. Or maybe him being a Chiss brought him above other aliens. Only time would tell. "It will be an honor to serve under you in any capacity, sir."

Being a junior officer, Xenos knew his place during the briefing was to listen and learn, but he was ready to give his input if needed.

Hours after it's departure from it's mother vessel, a small unmarked A-Wing fighter would drop out of hyperspace just several hundred yards off the starboard side of the Sword. This was the Emperor's Flagship, his ship non the less. The tiny A-Wing's pilot sent a message to the ship, "I'm requesting a meeting with the Emperor. I have been sent by the Dark Lord of the Sith. He has an important proposal for him...." The A-Wing floated there, waiting for a response from the vessel. The Holodroid just sat there, waiting. It had been programmed with a little bit of a personality, just for the amusement of the Dark Lord when he was only with the droid. It would be revealed if the droid was able to deliver it's message to the intended receiver.

As the McKnight and Xenos talked another message came in. An A wing had arrived and the pilot requested an immediate audiance with the Emporer. Draco's gut led him to believe that this is really important so he gave orders for the Awing to be escorted in by Tie Defenders and given permission to land on the Officers hanger. The Pilot was to be escorted directly to the Emporer.

After dealing with that Draco turned his attention to the two officers infront of him. "Admiral, Commander we are at a juncture where every decision we make could be life or death. I am sure you are both aware that the Galactic Alliance far outnumbers the Empire in terms of material and manpower. It is time to change that. We have already subdued a small time warlord, but now we have to get some more systems under our control. I want you both to go to Ithori and talk to the local government. Get them to side with the empire. Take several ships with you as a show of our power, if you need to vaporize a moon. Once your done with Ithori take the sister planet in that system. Once that is done report back...I will have new orders for you."
