Near the Rothana System
Grand Admiral Jason McKnight sat in his Admirals Chair in his command salon which was essentially like GA Thrawns Meditation Room. He liked being away from the wines and cries from the main bridge officers. He allowed Captain Karath to handel the ship combat while he handled fleet ops. The Enforcer was in the middle of what remained of his fleet while he waited for his Dominator class Interdictor Star Destroyer, Constrictor, sent him a signal to comense combat ops.

Large stationary Asteroid in Rothana System
The Constrictor, one of the oldest of the Dominator Interdictor Star Destroyers and one of the most experienced crews, waited behind the large asteroid. The asteroid was made of undesirable metal but had the very nice ability to mess of the sensors of ships. One of Kane’s most enduring qualities was his arrogance. He didn’t set up any sort of warning system for if anyone wanted to get behind the asteroid. Captain Zayne Morvis stationed Silencer Squadron, which was a phantom tie squadron normally found on the Enforcer was temporally put under his command. When Commander Xenos gave the word he was send a tight beam message to the TIEs (which he knew from a fallow up briefing), which would then send him the word to activate the gravity wells and bring the Grand Admiral in.

Rothana System Defense HQ
Kane was in his thorne doing what he had been doing best these last several years; eat, drink, and being marry. No one has bothered him or his little regime. He was getting rich and had an impressive military to back him up. Little did he know that it could all change today.

Aboard the Patrol Flagship Dipstick (we don’t have to be serous all the time)
Lt. Commander Slacker, who was captain of the Acclamator K Assault Ship Dipstick, was making their patrol with the other two ships in his patrol group. Like normal nothing was going on. Just once he wished something was going to happen.

Xenos had to give it to the Grand Admiral, he was very astute in knowing what the enemy's routine was. It had been the Grand Admiral's idea to add five more ships to his force, which was probably going to be the key to the mission. If Xenos had originally shown up with just his fleet of 5 ships, the patrol would have probably tried to fight them to a standstill and ti would have ended up with the patrol being destroyed. Good for the Empire in the short run, but bad for this mission. The key here was to draw out the other forces and ambush them.

So it was with this knowledge that Xenos' fleet was just seconds away from dropping out of hyperspace on the tail of the patrol. Xenos had "arranged" it so that it looked like they had bad luck in their location and vector, but this was just a ruse. He wanted the Commander on the patrol ship to feel like they had just escaped a badly directed ambush, thus adding to the trickery.

As his timer counted down, he looked out over the hyperspace lanes flashing by. He stood at the head of the command deck looking down over the tech's trenches, back straight with a calm and confident smile on his face. A signal chimed, indicated their drop point.

As one, the hyperspace lanes disappeared and they were at the edge of the sector of space that Warlord Kane claimed to be his territory. 8 of the ships, including the Titan dropped off at a range that was far behind and just out of firing range of the Dipstick. Two of the other Vics arrived well within firing range, but not along the same vector as the Dipstick. Xenos cut the smile from his face and ordered shields up and the comm open. He pretended to be cussing out his navigator as Lt. commander Slacker appeared on the holo.

"It seems that you are outnumbered Captain, Stand down as we will have your ship." Off camera, he yelled. "Get the fleet around and cut that fool off. I want that ship dead now."

The fleet turned in the wake of the Dipstick, but they seemed slow and sluggish in their manuevers. The two Vics that were in range, turned to follow the Dipstick and then opened fire on the flagship, but they could only bring token weapons on the ship, with turbolaser batteries and concussion missiles firing outward toward Kane's flagship. Xenos cut the signal off.

Slacker was completely surprised. An Imperial fleet lead by an Imperial X SD dropped out of hyperspace to close for comfort. Not only did the fleet out number him but also had more firepower. The comm. officer told him that the enemy commander was hailing. The officer in front of him was Chiss wearing a standard imperial uniform.

"It seems that you are outnumbered Captain, Stand down as we will have your ship."

“That may be, but not for long.” Slacker turned to his helmsman, “Full impulse back to the Planet. Rear batteries return fire, axillary power to shields, power from the forward weaponry to the engines and have the Air Boss get a couple of fighters out and have them race toward the planet to warn the warlord in case they block communications. Stay in touch with Defense HQ to keep the apprised of our situation.” With a chorus of affirmatives, the Patrol fleet lunged toward the planet with the imps right behind them. Fire from the closer vics started firing on the Dipstick. All 3 Acclamators returned fire with their rear turbolaser batteries on the one vic concentrating their firepower. Luckily for the patrol group a couple of things are working in their favor. One the Commander must not of been that good because the way it looks this was an accident and when battle had started they were slow and sluggish with their response. The last little tid bit was that due to their angle from hyperspace only two ships could fire and even then only a token of those ships firepower could be brought to bear. Slacker was sure that once the warlord and Commodore Dim-Witt was notified and the full extent of their home fleet would be brought to bear.

Defense HQ
Commodore Dim-Witt was lounging around like normal when the call came in. At first he thought it was a hoax but when he listened to the transmission he knew it was for real. He called the warlord who responed with the normal of get rid of them. Dim-Witt put the rest of the defense force on alert. The fleet of Acclmators rose from the planet and joined the orginal fleet, and started heading toward the intruders.

End Round 1
Patrol fleet surprised and started making a break for the planet. Planet has been notified due to the fact communications were not jammed (which is ok for this test due the battle plan). Planets Defense forces were put on alert and the fleet has formed up.

Xenos smiled as he watched the Warlord's fleet take off for their base. He watches as one of the two Vics that were firing on the Dipstick faked damage. It rolled on it side and the external lights flickered on and then off. It seemed to list away from the enemy, but it was just a ruse. This particular Vic had been upgraded with long distance sensors and it would be the ship that would inform Grand Admiral McKnight of their arrival at the ambush point.

Meanwhile, the rest of the fleet formed up quickly, with the Titan at the lead. The rest of the Vics formed up in a conical formation, covering each other with shields and fields of fire. Even though the Vics were slow, Xenos was going to lull around behind the Warlord's fleet for a bit. If they overtook them, then they might be caught in a crossfire with the planetary defense fleet. Best to stand off and take shots at them.

"Weapon Control, concentrate all weapons on the Dipstick. As we get in range, fire at their bridge. Relay targeting solutions for the rest of the Vics, grouping them in 3 groups of three."

With one Vic (the Spectre) sitting back, ready to relay the signal to the Grand Admiral, the other 9 Vics would target three vessels at a time, concentrating their fire to do the most damage. Even now, they were coming into range of the three patrol ships and the captains opened fire. Turbolaser fire laced into the afts of the Acclamators, but Xenos had carefully prepared the captains so that they wouldn't destroy any ship outright. The damage was to make the rest of the fleet look like they meant business. All captains stayed their concussion missiles; they would be used in the ambush.

"Sir, the Spectre is reading multiple contacts approaching. It looks like it is in the entire fleet. We shall be in there sensor range in 5 minutes."

"Excellent Lieutenant, inform the Spectre to send the signal to the Enforcer. The trap is baited. Send the Spectre on it's way."

The lieutenant relayed the message and the Spectre tight beamed a message to the Grand Admiral's ship. Then it jumped to hyperspace, bound for the ambush point. As Xenos' force raced toward the oncoming fleet, he mentally prepared for the "hasty retreat" and how to make it look credible. They would have to take some damage, but he would do what he could to not get his men killed needlessly.

Only 2 more minutes and then they could affect surprise at the fleet would material on their sensors.

OOC: We have to speed this up a bit due to the fact steve wants us on another mission so im coming in now.
The message was sent to the phantom tie which was watching the action then transmitted the go order to the Constrictor.

The Constrictor came flying around the asteroid and came in at an angle that pointed the super structure in between Xenos’s task force and the main enemy fleet. Once it was in position it powered up its grav wells and transmitted the coordinates to the Grand Admiral. The Grand Admiral’s Fleet came in right behind the enemy weapons blazing. Of course at the center of the fleet was the Enforcer, the Executer class Super Star Destroyer. Esscorting her was 8 of the top imperial x star destroyers in the fleet. Other ships included 3 carriers that came in and joined the Constrictor.
The plan was simple. The imp xs paired off and concentrated their firepower at one acclamator k at a time. The enforcer simply fired at several at a time. “Xenos this is McKnight. Press them. Take out those orginals and now its time to kick them in the balls.”

Through the force he sent his go message to his Shadow Hands. Sure enough 3 of the Vanguard troop cruisers came in. Using the force all three were able to touch the minds of the controllers of the defense guns and shields and did a quick landing in a triangle and started disembarking troops.

Xenos' previously sluggish task force spurred into action. The Vics increased to flank speed and began to separate the defender's fleet into individual ships. The Acclamators were well armed for a ship of their time, but now, they were considered to weak to be line ships. The Vics waited for a minute or two for the ISD Xs to engage. Then the manuevered in, drawing to close range beside the Acclamators and pumping turbolaser fire and ion cannons into the shields. Where as the Vics could concentrate their fire and shields, the Acclamators had to cover themselves, diluting their power.

And starfighters were everywhere. Xenos had his fighters swarm around behind the Acclamators and hit them from the aft. Bombers were led in, flanked by AVengers and Defenders. Xenos' overall theme of the attack was to separate and subdue, not destroy. As ships lost their shielding, the turbolaser fire stopped, but the ion cannon fire increase. Every ship they captured was another one for the Empire.

Off to the left flank, three of the warlords ships had turned to green meaning pacified. Assault shuttles were immediately dispatched to those ships to take control of the bridge. The Vics that had been engaged with those ships, joined the attack on the next section. Xenos' smiled. The flank was crumbling quickly and the Imperial fleet was positioning itself as a wedge to push the ships farther from the planet. He knew that once a corridor was set up, the ground assault fleet would arrive, being pulled from hyperspace by the Constrictor.

Seconds later they arrived and used the Vics as shields to get to ground. Right behind them, the Spectre arrived and began to rotate, bringing its superstructure to face down and fire down on the Warlord's command ship. Another 3 ships went pacificied as they surrendered. The battle was already over though the enemy didn't know it. Soon, the planet would be in their hands and any planetary weapon would be turned onto the aft of the ships.

"Lieutenant, inform Starfighter Command that they have 10 minutes and then they need to fall back to secondary positions. We don't want them caught between in the planetary weapons' blasts."

"Aye sir."

Xenos continued to direct his task force, following the lead of the Grand Admiral. The Titan moved to engage a formation of Acclamators trying to make a break for it. The Titan made a stately turn and then continued to manuver in front of the formation. She slagged the lead ships with heavy turbolaser barrages. The once pristine nose of the Acclamator disappeared under an explosion of debris and energy. The lights flickered and power began to falter. Secondary explosions ripped along her midline. The other two Acclamators had to manuever around it. In doing so, they gave up their protection.

As they passed over the Titan, Xenos engaged them at point blank range, ravaging the ships. They returned fire in kind. The Titan shook as her shields absorbed most, but not all of the destruction. A few of the turbolaser exploded and Xenos could tell by the rumbling in the ship that a power transfer relay station was destroyed.

Still that left the 4 Vics flying in formation with the Titan free to pounce on the Acclamators. Turbolaser fire and projectiles from all 5 ships reduced the once deadly warships to scrap and garbage. Explosions ripped out the bridges and engine areas and continued all the way to down to the heart of the ship.

Xenos allowed the navigator to pull the Titan back until damages could be assesed. Meanwhile the Vics moved around the Titan and pressed their attack.

At ten minutes, all of Xenos' fighter squadrons cut off their attacks on the aft and looped around to screen the capital ships.
