Rank: Technically High Admiral but prefers his extremely old rank of General

Co-Pilot/Best Friend/High Marshall/ Iron Knight Kano (All Iron knights had the honorary rank of High Marshall during the old/new republic and galactic alliance. Look up Iron Knights on wookiepedia if you don’t know anything about em and this is a constant NPC): Kano whose crystal is in the body of a YVH Droid. Kano was part of the group that discovered Roan in stasis. Kano who had lead them to the place because he felt his presence in the Force convinced his comrades to bring Roan out of stasis. Ever since then they have been inseparable.

Personality: Very noble and strategically brilliant, but still feels a bit out of place still due to him being out of it for a couple thousand years. While he is considered part of the New Jedi Order he keeps busy enough with his duties in the military that he hasn’t gotten more involved. He is often the calming influence during military meetings especially with the flag officers always against Rear Admiral Jim Raynor.

Bio: Roan Kor was a Jedi Master 3,500 years before the battle of Yavin. He was well respected not only as a Jedi but a very popular commander. He was one of the few commanders that had success against the Sith Empire’s massive onslaught. When word went out about peace talks Roan was quite skeptical of the situation. He was left in charge of the Jedi Temple on Coruscant when the Sith came a calling. He confronted the Sith Lord that entered the temple along with several knights. Looking over the Sith Lords shoulder, Kor saw the shuttle coming straight at the Temple. The shuttle crashed through the Temples entrance stopping a few meters behind the Sith Lord. The shuttle carried several Sith Knights and Masters. It was then that the battle was joined. The battle was not going well. The Sith Lord that first entered the Temple was taking out Jedi left and right, seeing this Roan confronted the Sith himself. The battle was fierce. Roan fought with everything he had but the Sith Lord was too much. He was stabbed through the chest in front of the Temple entrance. Before passing out, he saw the Sith Armada over the capital. He fell at the entrance of the Temple for what he thought was his last breath.

Three commandos who had escaped the slaughter checked the bodies and when they found that he was barely alive they took him to a secret passage through the temple to a shuttle bay. There along with a medics and a shuttle they made their escape. After several hours of surgery and almost losing him several times they were able to stabilize him or so they thought. His body was so weak that it started to die again. It was then that they ran into another shuttle that was severely damaged. The shuttle contained an old female Jedi Councilor. Knowing she was near the end of her life she decided to help Roan. First she was able to put Roan into a healing trance AND an extreme version of a hibernation trance. It was then that the Jedi Master used an unknown technique. What it did was using every ounce of the Force she could summon she gave Roan’s body one hell of a boost. After it was done the councilor became one with the Force. Before she was completely gone she communicated with the solders to take him someplace safe and full of life so he could heal. It would take quite some time due to the damage his body had received. They stopped at a planet to pick up some supplies and materials to make a stasis chamber before moving on. Why they didn’t just go to a Republic Outpost is unknown. They found a backwater planet that had not been affected by the war. They built their stasis chamber and put Roan in it. They left a bunch of supplies and a shelter for one of the commandos while the other two made their way back to command to tell them what they have done. Unfortunately for the commando and Roan, the planet that the others went to was also being attacked by the Mandalorians and was destroyed. Roan and the commando were never found.

For 3,500 years Roan lay in a Force stasis. His body was slowed down so much he didn’t even look like he was aging. The boost the Councilor did was enough to give his immune system the jump start it needed to heal his broken body. It wasn’t until an Iron Knight named Kano and 2 Jedi Knights during the middle of the Vong war found him as they were trying to find survivors of a recent battle. The essence of life was detected by Kano but not the other two. They fallowed Kano until they stumbled across the stasis pod. At first the Jedi wanted to leave it but Kano insisted. They opened the pod and using the Force awakened Roan. Of course Roan was startled and confused. After calming him down the 3 explained as much as they could. Roan asked several questions that none of them knew the answer to. He was brought back and meets Master Luke Skywalker. Everyone was astonished that a 3,500 year old was found and looked not a day over 40. After more questions and explaining, Roan made the decision to resume his role as a Jedi Master AND a military officer for the New Republic. Seeing the Vong as the greatest threat to the rebuilding Jedi Order he had to do something. He was not around to help his fellow Jedi of his generation so he was going to be damned if he didn’t help keep this new rebuilding generation alive. After a crash course in modern technology, ship specs, and tactics he joined the New Republic Defense Force as a Vice-Admiral. He and his task force was at Mon Calamari refitting when Coruscant fell. For the second time he had seen his Capital fall. Like most military officers he didn’t fallow Poe after the defeat of Coruscant. When Cal Omas took office and reorganized the military he followed suit. When the Empire joined in Roan was selected as the senior Alliance officer to serve under Grand Admiral Pellaeon due to the fact that he had no dealing or real knowledge of the Empire that everyone knew. Roan enjoyed working with Pellaeon which he also learned a lot from. He helped recapture the Coruscant and was promoted to Admiral after the war. He was asked to stay on in the military much to Skywalker disappointment he accepted. He felt a bit out of place in the New Order which was so different from what he knew. He did vow to help when and where he could which satisfied Skywalker. He provided new teaching curriculum for the Academy which benefited the new order. Several years later he was promoted to High Admiral and made Executive Officer of the Galactic Alliance military. While he is conforatable with his role Jedi (no matter the time period) were never made admirals. So in that tradition he took the rank of General. While the rank of High Marshall never really carried much weight, Roan officially made Kano his aide and XO.

Uber. Ok this will work, once cory comes back he can take over and see where it is fit to place your character. And for now you will be in over all charge of the GA. Your Imperial Character will get less important missions against the GA and will be used more against pirates, again until cory gets back
